John Reid Haddow was a BSc, MRCVS and DVSM degree holder. His specialization was in veterinary science. He was veterinary officer (1923) in Indian Veterinary Service (1926) and Deputy Director (1930) of Imperial Veterinary Research Institute (now, Indian veterinary Research Institute), Izatnagar. He was the first Veterinary Research Officer (1931-33), Veterinary Research Officer-in-Charge of Serology (1933-35) and Officiating Director (1935) of the Imperial Veterinary Research Institute, Mukteswar, Kumaon.
Academic and Research Achievements: Haddow made notable contribution in veterinary research.
Awards and Honours: Haddow was an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
