Frederich George Percival did his PhD from University of London. He became Superintendent of Mines and Quarries, Tata Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. He specialized in the areas: geology and mining engineering.
Academic and Research Achievements: Dr Percival was one of the main architects of geological activities in British India.
Awards and Honours: Dr Percival was conferred the OBE (Order of the British Empire) Award. He was also elected Fellow of the Geological Society, London; and Vice President (1932) and President (1933-34) of the Mining and Geological Institute of India.
