Virosome technology has been licensed to the Panacea Biotech Ltd., New Delhi, through NRDC, NEW DELHI, MoU signed, March, 2002. Technology transfer process has been completed and one time Royalty (Rs. 25 Lakhs) received by University of Delhi. As of now, commercialization is awaited.

   An active collaboration (preclinical studies with a Gunn rat model, supported jointly by NRDC, New Delhi and AECOM, USA) is going on since June, 2006 with Prof. Jayanta Roy-Chowdhury, for treating jaundice (Crigler-Najjar Syndrome, Type I Jaundice) with Sendai virus based F-virosome entrapped bilirubin-UDP glucouronysyl transferase (BUGT) gene to liver cells. Studies are completed (published in the Hepatology, Sept, 2009 issue) and based on the results, a PCT application has been filed and accepted in 2011.
