Indian National Science Academy -INSA
The INSA was established in January 1935 with the objective of promoting science in India.
Congratulations to Prof. Deepak Dhar, an internationally known statistical physicist, FNA on being conferred with Padma Bhushan for 2023. Prof. Dhar is also a Fellow of TWAS and other Indian Academies. He is a winner of TWAS prize, and also received Boltzmann medal last year. He worked at TIFR, Mumbai and is now Distinguished Visiting Professor at Indian Instt. Science at Bengaluru.
INYAS Delhi-NCR chapter is organizing (in association with NASI Delhi chapter, INSA Delhi chapter, RuTAG, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SERB, IIT Delhi ) an event "विज्ञान विस्तार", commemorating International Day of Women & Girls in Science, during January 28-30, 2023 for the school students from rural area schools of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. This event at IIT Delhi aim to provide a glimpse into the world of science, to ignite their curiosity through hands-on training and to provide them information on different career opportunities available to them...
